You know that feeling at the end of a walk?

You're standing in the parking lot, conversation still going, not quite ready to leave.

You look around at the people you just spent two hours with and think: “why don't I have more of this in my life?”

We've watched that moment happen for four years.

In 16 cities. With over 20,000 people.

And for four years, we didn't have an answer for it.

Until now.

You don't have to have walked with us to know what this community is about. Some of you have been on the trail over 50 times. Some of you have never been, but you've felt something just watching from the outside, a quiet sense of "those are my people."

Either way, you feel the vibe. And this is your invitation in.

The Board is the private, curated layer of The Board Walks. Application only. Built for the people who've felt that pull and always suspected there was a deeper room waiting for them.

Here's what happens inside:

Monthly Salons

Picture the best conversation you've ever had.

The one where nobody checked their phone and nobody wanted it to end.

Now imagine that's the baseline.

Every month, a curated group of Board members gathers for a facilitated deep dive conversation. No “warm up” with 20 minutes of small talk. We design the room so it goes somewhere interesting within the first five minutes.

You leave with a shifted perspective and a short list of people you absolutely need to see again.

Spark Calls

Most days, you have these small pockets of time.

15 minutes between calls. A slow afternoon. A quiet hour you didn't plan for. You feel the pull to connect, but friction kills it. You think about texting a friend, but they're busy, schedules don't line up, or they're just not in the same headspace.

We created Spark Calls for this exact moment.

Whenever you're ready, you can open the space and find dozens, soon hundreds, of people who've already been vetted for vibe, depth, and curiosity. Builders, creatives, operators, thoughtful humans who are actively making things in the world.

You scroll and spot someone. There's a green dot next to their name, so they're online and ready to chat. You click their profile and realize… “No wayyy, they're into the same thing I’ve been learning about until 2 AM on Youtube.”

You reach out for a chat, they say yes, and fifteen minutes later you both hang up lighter, clearer, and oddly energized by a conversation you didn’t schedule.

No calendar holds, follow up pressure, or plans made for 2 weeks later.

Just the good part, right when you needed it.

The Member Directory

This is where we replace networking.

The directory gives you a real picture of who someone is.

What lights you up, the questions you're sitting with, the topics you'd happily talk about for an hour, the corners of your life that rarely come up in other rooms.

So when you scroll, you're not thinking "who should I pitch" or "who can help my career."

You're thinking: who’s excited to connect right now?

Because everyone in this room is on the same wavelength, the only question left is: “When?”

We take everything broken about traditional networking and turn it into something that feels human, fun, and strangely easy.

Engineered Serendipity

Throughout the year, we design moments specifically to put the right people in the same place at the same time.

A curated intro here. A spontaneous thread that somehow turns into a real life dinner. A conversation that starts inside The Board and ends up changing the direction of a project you've been working on for months.

And then something starts to happen that nobody quite expects.

You realize you have people. Everywhere.

You're traveling somewhere new and there's already a Board member there who knows the best spots and genuinely wants to show you around. You want to plan a ski trip and five people are already in. You feel like connecting on a random Wednesday night and someone across the world is awake and in the exact same mood.

The Board is where your surface area for luck effortlessly gets bigger.

No Social Debt

Most communities run on invisible contracts.

Stay visible. Reply quickly. Don't disappear.

The Board runs on something else entirely.

If life pulls you away for six weeks and you come back like nothing happened, you're welcomed back in. No invisible ledger, side eye, or penalty for being human.

We have one agreement: when you're here, be here.

When you're not, we'll be glad to see you when you return.

It takes a certain kind of person to show up to this walk. To devote a Saturday morning to having real conversation with strangers, and then keep coming back.

For years, thousands of people asked:

"Is there more?"

This is our answer.

The walks are how we found each other.

This is what comes next.

We can't wait to see you in there. 🧡

From our walking villages in 16+ cities around the world:

Miami said "we'll bring all ages." The baby in the stroller doesn't even know what a walk is. He just knows the vibes are immaculate.

San Francisco. Overcast skies, a sea of people who definitely have opinions about AI.

Austin said "how many people can we fit in one photo" and then kept going. The skyline is just trying to keep up at this point.

🏆 Our Aveiro host shared that two women recovering from breast cancer discovered during the walk that they had both gone through nearly the same experience. They arrived as strangers, but somewhere between the trail and the conversation, something softened. By the end, it felt less like small talk and more like two people realizing they no longer had to carry that chapter of life alone.

🏆 A Detroit attendee recently reunited with someone he had written a resource letter to while they were incarcerated 15 years ago. The man told him he had kept the letter all these years. A reminder that you never really know how far kindness travels.

🏆 During a snowy Denver walk, only one person showed up. Instead of canceling, the two of them spent the morning reflecting on old walk conversations and how life had changed since then. Even in the snow, the connection still showed up.

The Board is something Elle, Cam, and a lot of the veterans of these walks have been building toward for a long time.

When the world zigged on community… we zagged.

We added everything we always wished existed in social spaces. And we removed everything that never made sense to us. No invisible contracts. No performance. No noise. No pressure to be anything other than exactly who you are.

This is a love letter to real connection. And we built it for a world that is hungry for a completely different way of finding its people.

Depth as the default. Belonging that feels light. A room that was designed, from the very beginning, to honor your energy.

We go much deeper into the philosophy behind how and why we built it this way below.

We think you'll feel the difference the moment you walk in.

This week on The Board Walks, people brought these topics:

  1. "What does ‘home’ actually mean to you now?"

  2. "How do you know when it’s time to leave a version of your life that no longer fits?"

  3. "What’s something you’re doing now purely for joy instead of productivity?"

  4. "In a world full of anxiety and uncertainty, what keeps you hopeful?"

  5. "What’s a moment in your life that first felt terrible… but later became one of the best things that ever happened to you?"

Screenshot these. Steal with pride. Bring one to your next dinner party to shift the conversation from “meh” to marvelous.
